Tagtool Digital Graffiti (english) | Workshop
The TagTool is a visual performance instrument that can be used on stage and on the street.
It serves as a VJ tool, as creative video game, or as an intuitive way of creating digital animations. The system is jointly operated by two persons: An artist who draws pics on a digitiser tablet and an animator who sets those graphics in motion with a gamepad/joystick. This system enables unlimited artistic complexness with a simple user interface.
The creators of the TagTool are inspired by the open source movement. They look for intersections of Graffiti and digital art. "Graffiti on walls was yersterday, today's Graffiti writer 'bombs' digitally!"
