5 days of movies, workshops and cultural events at an open international campus: By artistic and medial approaches to diversity and synchronicity, a urban mediatope will emerge.

Workshops, movies and events with cultural wide-angle: The Urban Media Festival Cologne 09 got it all. From "Pimp my Video" and "self-made movie-making equipment" to stummfilm:dj (silent movie with live DJ) and Future Shorts to the ChupasSound concert with acoustic latin HipHop.

Watch, discuss, join and grab some ideas: From November 25th to 29th, the Urban Media Lounge at Alten Feuerwache Cologne will open doors for all young media afficionados. Starting from 14:00 CET, urban Gemütlichkeit will be re-defined here on a daily base. With snacks, drinks, workshops and exhibitions. An on Sunday, the „Film Makers‘ Coffee Circle“ invites movie makers and cineastes to cake, talk and freshly pressed video productions.

The world at home in Cologne: In international production crews together with their Cologne hosts, young media talents from France, UK, Israel, Italy, the Netherlands and Spain will develop statements on urban life. This can be short movies, video clips or live visuals. At the Urban Media Lounge and at the official premiere on November 28th at Filmhaus Cinema the results will be presented: Urban life in Cologne, seen with 100+ eyes from 7 countries.
